New Single Battery AN-PVS-14 atop a new 6.8 Noveske

Postby Clutch » Sat Jun 03, 2006 3:40 pm

Hello all,

It was LONG overdue to post some of the new AN-PVS-14 single battery configurations. I am VERY PLEASED with the results. Depicted below is a AN-PVS-14 SB on a new Noveske 6.8 SPC upper with a Larue tactical rail, GG&G Base and Ring, ARMS#40L, EO (a 551 not 552!) KAC flip up front sight and sling swivel, Viking Sling, Noveske KX3 flash supressor, and a new Laser Devices DBAL-A (Sqaured) IR Laser/Illum with Vis. laser rounds out the package. Thus far in the dead of night, 1 moa at 100m! :D Enjoy the the pics!!

That is still a 551 EoTech, not a 552  ;)

Could anyone tell me if the mount shown will work on a D300? I just purchased one with several accessories but would like to find a mount that will allow more clearance for a BUIS.

Thanks

William

Hi,

The GG&G mount shown will not work with the D-300. The issue mil-spec PVS-14 mount will. Hope this helps.

Have you had any recoil issues with your pvs14 using it on a 6.8?

The 6.8 SPC is generally considered OK. That5 said, ANY tube can fail to recoil. I never mount my tubes and use a IR laser. Just me. I personally would use a regular filmed tube with a halo greater then 1.25 for a weapon mounted scope.
I said I never had much use for one. Never said I didn’t know how to use it.
