PVS-14 Teamed up with a Mil-Spec 3x Magnifier

Postby Clutch » Sun Dec 04, 2005 5:58 pm

Here is a new tactical NV package I just put together for a customer with a Mil-Spec 3x magnifier for the PVS-14. I am REALLY impressed how this mil-spec 3x performed with the EO and PVS-14. VERY impressed. We were also experimenting on mounting solutions as well, and found the ARMS #29 would NOT work with this setup, but the GG&G multiflex base and PVS-14 ring were exemplary. Yet ANOTHER reason I am using the GG&G Mutliflex base and PVS-14 ring.

Enjoy the pics!

:o Ha ha, that's pretty awesome.

how's come you haven't taken off the front sight? It makes a weird 'O' in the picture.

Oh, well, that's pretty sweet.

Hi Paul,

Funny, I just took some pics this evening for a potential customer who wanted to see the Mil-Spec 3x with the Aimpoint Comp M3. As you can see, the image is not as sharp as when using the EO Tech 551. This ALL has to do with the Narrow body housing F.O.V. from the AP. It still works very well, just not as sharp (focus) as the EO and bit more loss of light. Still a very effective shooting platform in the shadows!

How far is the the house that you took this picture of and how far is it intil you can see a deer, say they are about two blocks away can you see there face or even make out the shape of their son, say they are about 100 yards to 200 yards. and next what about the flash from the rifle when fired does that upset your sight picture in any way. any information that you may be able to give me would help a great deal. I have a EO-TECH 551 for a AR-15 .223 rifle. 8)
