Sorry, I don't mean to be picky, but isn't that a EoTech 551 instead of a 552? ;)

No problem. :)

Since you seem to have access to almost every mount solution under the sun, do you happen to have pictures of a D-300 mounted to a weaver rail?

I'll get my D-300 soon, but without the mount yet, I'd like to see a picture of it before I decide to buy one. ;)

Why no D-300? Is it because mounts arent as good for it (Or not available), is it due to performance issues or is it simply preference and the fact its easier to sell "military" type setups?

mini 14 with new mount and arms 40l sight?

Postby jsonshk » Mon Jul 17, 2006 3:35 pm

Victor,

i noticed that in the pic with the mum and the new mum rail mount you dont have the ARMS 40l rear flip up sight on your ar15, is that just because the mount is not tall enough to clear it, or will it work?

Will the MUM-14 plus the mount in the pic fit with the aimpoint on KAC RAS II? Doesn't the set up of MUM-14 in the pic seem too far forward from the shooter's eyes? How do you like it?

Cheers

It is just a bit forward and ones nose is just barely behind the charging handle. It works great I feel.
