D-760 at 250M!

Postby Clutch » Thu Oct 06, 2005 1:45 pm

I posted this D-760 pic a few weeks back in conjunction with a new long range illuminator so I thought I would post it here! My camera skills are geting a BIT better, but now I just have to work on centering the darn thing!!

As I stated in an earlier post where I compared the D-760 vs the Raptor...except for distances OVER 800m, they are identical in performance. The ONLY other differences is in $$$ and weight. The 760 is about half the weight of a Raptor!

nice,

Are those crosshairs that thick or is it just bloom from the camera?

You have got to have that mounted on an AR. Got pics with it mounted?

Indeed the crosshairs are camera bloom.

Ask and you shall receive, here is the D-760 mounted. Weapon is a 6.8 SPC, ARMS SIR, and the NEW Magpul PRS pre-production stock. Enjoy!

Thats a beaut!

After I recover from my Mini-14 purchase, I'm going to get one of these baby's for my new .308 build.

The housings are not for sale. There are a number of reasons for this, but a couple are the warranty issues and the fact that it is beyond complicated to assemble.

Thanks. I was told that today by a retailer of the D-760. he said it's worse than the RAPTOR in this regard, which is tough enough.

.

what is that gun..looks the dogs danglies....is there a web sight with its specs..ranges etc...does it do the 1000 yard range etc? i shoot airguns in the UK..not licenced for that sort of stuff, thats if theyre not banned already..sad but fact..

the airgun isnt to be laughed at in terms of skill..power yes lol its a puff gun..as in a puff of air..some one rated the skill as a 40 yard wood pigeon head shot at 40 yards to a 400 yard head shot of a human or there abouts..and windage compensation should be listed under esp some days..!!

oh well tis all i can play with at the mo....but i can dream.. :D

the illuminator/designator on the rifle in the picture is a AN/PEQ2 ( or clone thereof)

The rifle appears to be a Barrett REC 7 which is by no means a 1k gun. That said Vic, I own the same said rifle a was planning to drag it around hunting yotes w a 740. Was planning on putting a Magpul UBR on it but am curious of your thoughts as it appears youre running a PRS...
