Question about tubes

Postby books » Mon Mar 29, 2004 9:27 pm

From where does ATN acquire its tubes ??? Obviously, the 1st generation tubes originate from Russia. I don't think any other place produces them anymore. But how about the ATN 2nd and 3rd generation tubes???

Majority of 2nd generation tubes are from Litton with some from ITT, whil majority of 3rd generation tubes are ITT.

Do you also have a clue what (exact) types they use as a XD-4 or XR5?

Thanks for your time!

ITT and Litton don't make XD-4 or XR5; it's DEP in Holland which makes them.

Still, it would be very interesting to sell what type no the XD-4 have? Something like XX2040C.
Can anyone have a look at his data sheet?

Cool,
and these the ones build in a ATN Patriot?
(just making sure - since spending the money and having the wrong tube would be a reason for my wife to *censored* me)

Cheers

We have one XX2040CH left (XD-4 Auto Gated) and we can build either a Patriot, PS-14, or MiNi-14 with that tube. If you want a different tube or dealing with someone else, just make sure that you request an actual tube model number and data sheet before you buy.
