Aires 6900 Crusader Windage Problem

Postby wy111 » Mon Sep 05, 2005 12:13 am

Moved from wrong forum.

A major problem has occurred with my 6900. It has not knowingly had a knock or anything similar, but now with max windage adjustment my .243 is approx 10" out at 50yds. viewing through, the reticule seems to be way over to the right ( With the windage adjustment mid-way). Playing around with the mounts, with a 2 degree mis-alignment, I can just about zero, but obviously this is not acceptable.
A few questions:- How many full turns of the turret should there be from full left to right (Mine has approx 6)?
If it is not the tube at fault, is there a way to rectify this myself (I have access to small engineering tools)?
Can anyone give me an idea of correcting this problem?

Thanks in advance.
