Postby crye-baby » Wed Apr 20, 2011 10:24 am

could anyone help me out with the meanings of all the acronyms used after a tube ID. what I mean is I see SLG & so fourth after most tubes #'s (like this one 9815slg) I know that is an ITT tube but have no clue what the letters mean, maybe tube grade. Ive seen many different ones so far. any help would be Greatly Appreciated :D

SLN and SLG are no official designations, they are tubes marketed by Morovision.
SLN can be either standard-film or thin-film and is without autogating - that means it's either standard-film Gen3 or Select Alpha
SLG is a thin-film autogated tube - a Pinnacle
