Yet another tube ID

It has a great reticle etched into it, I want to see if the story I got can be backed up with data.

Also, is there a web site I can go to, I've been Googling for days. I hate for this forum to be just people requesting data on tubes.

What size is the tube? How large is the phosphor screen?

Can we have pics of the photocathode and any info of what it came out of?

Looks like the PVS-14 Ed Wilcox was selling. I'd go straight to the source and contact Mark Robinson in ITT's tube division and have him cross check it.

It is a PVS-14. Picked it up at a Gun Show in Ft Worth.

The guy I got it from says that the reticle was designed for ranging targets, in mils. It is etched into the glass on the back of the intensifier, closest to the eyepiece. He said it was marketed to the Navy, and that only 5 were ever made, and no orders were placed. It now resides in an Aurora Tactical housing, and the image is very crisp, with minimal dark spots. I was just wondering if there was a way to prove that story - makes it more interesting and perhaps more valuable.

New to the forums here, more of a gun guy. Thanks for the help. I've accidentally jumped into the NVG world with both feet it seems.

Talk to Ed Wilcox, he's selling one right now or he was...

That reticle is so clean and sharp! That's quality manufacturing right there. If only it were illuminated...
