Looking for head mount

Postby Armalyte » Thu Nov 18, 2010 11:34 am

Hello
I'm from France so I'm sorry for my really bad English.

I have a AN/PVS-7A with a standard Head mount. I saw this "flip flop" head mount :

Is it a "homemade one" or a "commercial one" ?

Thanks a lot for all informations you can give me.
Best regard

They rarely come up at auction and are hard to find. Someone made a adapter for the standard 7B mount but I have not seen one in a good long time. That is the problem with the 7A. The mounts for them are very scarce. Maybe some others may have a source for you. I will say the Litton facemask was much better than the skullcrusher in my opinion.

We have lots of people here from all over the world so never any need to apologize for your English. Many guys I know born in the US can't type it well ! :D

Welcome aboard !

The one linked at BHphoto looks the same but will not work with a 7A
I said I never had much use for one. Never said I didn’t know how to use it.

I agree with Dino the Litton face mask is a lot more comfortable than the standard skullcrusher.
They are very hard to find but are well worth the wait.
