Monocular build

Postby marc_pril » Fri Aug 20, 2010 1:39 am

A while ago there were a lot of Kite tubes sold on ebay.co.uk. M869's itt's9855A's and the eev tubes.

I've bought a few so started a small run of housings for personal use and to sell!
Thought I share the build with you guys.

Cheers,

Marc

Awesome stuff!

Took me a minute to figure out how you made that one piece..i so need to get some equipment and knowledge!

Now make me one i can pop a 9916 tube into without cutting it out of the can!

Cutting it out of the can is half the fun ! Stop looking for a shortcut !
I said I never had much use for one. Never said I didn’t know how to use it.

I might have an objective lens for the PVS5. So then you just need to source an eyepiece!

Lol. Im scared i will ruin it!!! I don't have to cut it out really. It works great as half a pvs-5. I'm not putting any more time/effort/cash into it.

When I get my hands on a gen3 tube I will put a reticle on the 9916 and slap it on the elcan.

Marc, does it happen to be a "c" lens?
