My Mini-14

Postby nexus » Mon Dec 14, 2009 10:23 am

Just got a great Mini-14 with a nice Omni 5(mil spec) tube for 2200€!
It is like new and absolultly NO spots.
I will make Pic's to night. :P
Now my questions:
How do you clean the lenses as good as possible?
Is there a protection glass for the mini 14 like there is for the PVS-14?
Wath type of battery is prefered?
How do I put nitrogen in it?

1.Clean the lens with dry airbrush or lens pen.. Don't rub them.
2.You mean sacrificial window? Yes, there is one, a screw-on type. Completely different to the one of the PVS
3.CR123A 3V Lithium. Or AA 1,5V, if you got a screw-on adapter.
4. You need a purge station for that.

I don't. Why exactly do you need it purged?
