got one on ebay. looking for a source for a rail mount. appears no one has one currently in production. pm me if you have one to sell.

From memory I believe you need a ARMS #20 mount. I see the USGI mounts from time to time on eBay. Keep your eyes peeled or Google around for the ARMS #20.

out of production. botach is out of stock (i checked). military fielded a rail mount for the m249 saw. not the claw type, there are a couple of those on ebay. my search continues. got the scope stupid cheap, $820.

Should but I can't swear to it as I never have tried it. Mounts for the PVS-4 seem to be in short supply. I once had 4 and they sold so fast I was out in one day. :mrgreen:

I think you would need some way of getting the elcan to bolt to the PVS4. An adapter of some description to raise the PVS4 up from the elcan.
I will try and have a look on the weekend but am fairly certain it wont be a direct mount.

I wouldn't use an elcan, those things can have movement.

Is this the right one? Pretty sure it is.

Murphys surplus junk 39 bucks, US sales only. Google it.

The elcan mount will not fit without an adapter I checked it today..
The image Dino posted is the way to go.

SUCCESS! murphy's had it. i think i got the last one. murphy's is like disneyland for milsurp, 8000 sq. ft. of goodies. here's the finished product, thanks so much, i had this posted on 4 boards.

I have never seen a PVS-4 atop an AK. Good job, just looks odd. :D
