It is just a screw on plastic cap for the purge port. That is where they nitrogen purge the unit. Odds of finding one are pretty slim. Try a automotive store and see if they have some black plastic body plugs that may fill the hole.

It is nothing that will stop your scope from working. The cap does have a O ring to seal out moisture and keep the nitrogen in.
I said I never had much use for one. Never said I didn’t know how to use it.

Very welcome. If you don't ever plan on nitrogen purging the unit I see no reason why you just can't smooth some black silicone in the hole to fill it.

Sir,
I can't put nitrogen, i do not have contact for this in France.

The problem : there is not a lot of official NVG's fan or user like in USA. There is only one specialist shop, (www.voirlanuit.com)but he can only sell monoculars or goggles without head mount clip.
French's laws are very complicated : They do not authorize for a civilian to get a NVG goggle with head mount even for collector, or a "night mountain walker" like me. So to live this passion, we have to be in illegal position.
There is 8 categories for weapon, and NVG is considered like a weapon, 2nd category, as the same position of an aircraft fighter....

For my goggle, i'll find a piece to close the nitrogen hole.

Thanks again for your recommendation.

All American's users from this forum cant' imagine the chance they have to leave in USA !!!!! ;)))))
