A bit pricey, but at least its here (Well almost here). I hate to say its a glorified flashlight but after the hype wore off, I fell outta love & we never really even met....... Bought another ToughBook with the D2 funds. After finding out that LDI is interested in the public's money - I don't think I will purchase the first couple models as they will more than likely keep coming up with new & better kit in the next few months to years. LDI can court me for awhile  To be fair - I will pick one up sooner or later if something else does not catch my eye first as always seems to happen :D

yeah i agree, just figure some would enjoy it. you can get the I2 and a surefire vamp or raid for that price and have more features and a white light.

yep, got a 952v already. Great light combo (IR & White). Im just sure as soon as I buy a D2 I'll come across an add stating Here's the New & Improved D3 !!!! All in all its Great LDI cares enough to do it in the first place :D

so why did u go with the 952v instead of the 620v? its has the same specifications, cheaper, and its a few ounces lighter.

ahh i see, makes sense. idk what to pick up tho, because the raid 720v has the same weight as the 952v and has more ir output then both the 952v and 620v with the same runtime. also the 720v has more features then the other 2, and if im droppin more then 300$ for a light, im going to make sure its going to work, and work well, and the 720v is a little pricier then the 620v, but for about 120$ more really isint that bad when u weigh it out. and it also comes with a modified sr07 tape switch which is heaps better then the st tape switch that the others come with but you cant change it out which kinda sucks.

just my .02

The 952v is bulky, heavy, & I hate the new style mount. But it does the job....
